Job Description

Trillium construction is now seeking an experienced Geologist for a multi-year environmental project at Hill AFB!

Our client, an employee-owned, leading Environmental Engineering form, is looking to add to their team for their environmental remediation project at Hill AFB. The Geologist will be expected to provide full-time on site support for this project, which involves remediation of multiple sites across the base.

Annual salary is DOE but ranges between $60,000 to $90,000+ and comes with excellent benefits including M/V/D, flexible PTO, paid holidays, 401k, bonus opportunities, and more!

Duties:
-Daily operation and maintenance of multiple remediation systems.
-Provide support to other project staff for the installation, operation, and maintenance of multiple remediation systems.
-Perform system monitoring and collection of field data, multimedia sampling and support to remedial construction activities.
-Prepare daily field logs and forms.
-Support for preparation of technical plans and reports.

Qualifications

-0 to 2 years of experience with remediation projects.
-Familiarity with MS Windows and MS Office.
-BA/BS in Geology, Science, or a related academic field.
-Ability to drive an on-site pickup truck and have a clean driving record.
-Experience working on U.S. federal contracts preferred.
-Experience on RCRA, CERCLA, or DoD projects is a plus.
-Contaminated soil and groundwater monitoring and remediation experience including discrete/composite soil and groundwater sampling, groundwater level measurement, and inspections is a big plus.
-Current and valid 40-hr OSHA HAZWOPER certification, up to date annual 8-hr OSHA refresher certification is a plus but not required.
-Ability to obtain a professional credential (P.G.) as applicable.
