Job Description

Trillium is now hiring Structural Welders for a prevailing wage project in Kittery, ME!! 

Will be working on a Naval Shipyard to finish constructing a dry dock for the Navy. Will be working from the docks piledriving sheet piles for the new sub dock. Must be able to read blueprints!  SHOULD HAVE EXP WITH PILES AND/OR MARINE IRONWORK/RIGGING!!!!  Will be structural welding sheet and pipe piles and also large diameter steel casing.  Project is 7 years long. Will all be first shift, may add a night shift later on down the road.  Must be able to work on pipe pilings, concrete pilings and sheet pilings. Will not be operating pile driving machines.  Will be getting dirty and working boots on the ground!!  Will be getting 50-60+ hours per week depending on weather. Welding is a MUST, should have marine/dock/shipyard exp!!! 

Pay is predetermined by the prevailing wage that is set at $30.79 /hour.  Those that qualify will earn $135/day for all 7 days in per diem, as long as you work all scheduled days.

Qualifications

- Ability to pass military background check
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
- Must have 5+ years of experience in industrial, marine, and bridgework
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints  
- Rigging exp is a must plus certificate
- Must have welding certificate within the last 6 months
- Must have all appropriate hand tools
- Must have Real ID and/or Passport along with Birth Certificate to obtain base pass
