Job Description

Are you a Field Service Technician looking to minimize travel but continue working with customers and automation equipment?  We have the position for you! 

Our client is looking for senior level professional with hands-on technical support experience.  This person will be communicating directly with customers and coordinating with internal teams including both Engineering and the manufacturing floor.  Customer inquiries will include but aren’t limited to user guidance, service requests including preparing quotes and parts ordering.  This person will be responsible for handling most questions/inquiries from customers or present to management for guidance.  This is a direct hire position with very minimal travel.  An occasional trade show may be required but no more than once per year.  Working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm and salary is $60,000-65,000 plus based on experience.

Qualifications

-Associate’s Degree or Technical Diploma in E/M, Engineering or similar.
-At least three years of related experience.
-Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
-Great computer and phone skills a must, along experience with working an ERP system.
-Ability to adapt in stressful situations.
