CNC Wire EDM Machinist needed in Ballardvale, MA!  1st shift!

Job Description

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking an experienced CNC Wire EDM Machinist to add to our client’s growing team.

This position will be responsible for operating CNC EDM wire and sinker machinery in a high precision job shop.

Responsibilities for this role include
- Ability to setup and/or operate multiple wire EDM machines, machine parts to required tolerances while meeting expected completion dates
- Develop, track, and optimize machining parameters for different materials
- Develop and make required fixturing to support the EDM area
- Perform preventative maintenance of EDM machines as required
- Achieve set productivity targets and identify ways of improving productivity
- Measurement and inspection of tight tolerance parts using various gages, indicators, and micrometers

This is a full-time, 1st shift direct hire opportunity with a well-established organization in the Ballardvale area. Standard hours for this role are Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. Wages ranges based on experience, $25-30/hr and up.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience running EDM Wire Machines
- EDM Wire machine programming, preferred
- Ability to read routine to complex blueprints
- Ability to complete your own setups and tool changes
- Experience with measuring equipment - calipers, micrometers, gauges
