Shop Assistant needed for immediate hire in Green Bay!

Job Description

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking a 1st shift Shop Assistant to add to our client’s growing team!

The main duties of the Shop Assistant will be to pull and prep raw materials for upcoming orders. Other duties include assisting machine operators and welders with production needs, grinding/deburring, tapping, drilling, and making sure all raw materials are accounted for and tracked accurately.

This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position with an opening on 1st shift and 2nd shift. The standard 1st shift hours are Monday - Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm.  Starting wages range from $16-17/hour, based on experience.  This opportunity comes with possibility for advancement within a well-established organization.

Qualifications

- 1-2+ years’ work history in an industrial/shop environment
- Previous fabrication shop experience a huge plus
- Ability to multi-task and take on new duties
- Experience with hand/power tools
- Experience with micrometers and calipers a huge plus
