Trillium Staffing is currently seeking an Area Production Supervisor to add to our client’s team! This is a new position due to growth at our client’s facility. Our client, a well-established metal fabrication shop is looking for an experienced individual to help lead their team and supervise day-to-day operation of the assigned area. This person will be responsible to build a high performing culture focused on safety, quality, teamwork, KPI’s, and a culture of continuous improvement. This position will be responsible for leading both 1st and 2nd shifts. Expected duties include leading toolbox talks, monitoring safety throughout the area, working with internal teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, communicating and leading the team towards key success criteria, evaluating talent on each shift through performance reviews, training employees and maintaining communication between office and production teams.

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity with a well-established organization in the Appleton area. Standard hours for this position are Monday-Friday 6:00am - 3:30pm. Wages ranges based on experience, $30-35/hr. Our client offers full benefits, profit sharing, quarterly and yearly bonuses as well as a generous 401k contribution.

Qualifications

- Associates degree or equivalent combination of technical training and work experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience and progressive responsibilities
- 2+ years Supervisory experience, required
- LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma experience preferred
- Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement practices in a manufacturing environment
- Solid Technical skill set and a background in metal manufacturing
